Call for Nominations

We are actively seeking nominations to the International Indigenous Working Group on HIV & AIDS (IIWGHA).

CLOSING DATE of this call for nominations is August 31, 2019

All IIWGHA Leaders sit as individuals and bring their skills and experience to the circle. However, institutional support is critical to carrying out the duties. The geographic coverage of Leadership spans numerous countries in specific regions and looks at indigenous community issues and the needs around HIV. Indigenous people living with HIV are encouraged to apply.

The overall goal of IIWGHA is to strengthen the collaborations and partnerships between international Indigenous communities and stakeholders in the fight against HIV and AIDS, through the networking and sharing of wise practices, and promoting culturally appropriate knowledge transfer.

We request that you look through criteria for selection the roles and responsibilities and application process detailed in the application form to ensure that you understand the commitments and the application process
