6th Biannual International Indigenous Pre-Conference on HIV and AIDS 2016
The AIDS 2016 affiliated pre-conference invites people living with HIV/AIDS, community leaders, activists, researchers & decision-makers from around the world, to come together in Durban, South Africa to celebrate, strategize and network on an Indigenous-led response to HIV/AIDS. July 16-17, 2016 explores Indigeneity in Africa and HIV in their communities. Opening & closing ceremonies include cultural exchanges to reflect and celebrate what has been achieved and what must still be achieved, and how to get to the UNAIDS goal of zero.
